There are many legal, non-lethal ways students can protect themselves on and off campus and for now, we suggest students take advantage of those before pursuing any drastic measures. (7) comments

Wrestling head coach, Greg Strobel, has spent 13 great seasons leading the wrestling team to victory. Strobel deserves thanks for his work, and we should welcome the new coach, Pat Santoro. (0) comments

Just as the melting snow reminds us that summer will eventually come, we must accept the changing seasons of our hearts and know that the pain will melt away as well and bring us to joy. (0) comments

In his column "The diversity test" (April 15, 2008), Olivier Lewis talks about the merits of smokers' rights on campus. Although Lehigh is a tolerant institution, your rights end when they infringe upon the health or rights of another. (5) comments

I don't believe Olivier Lewis was advocating smoking be permitted on campus in his column, "The diversity test" (April 15, 2008). We all agree smoking should be prohibited. The discussion is about Lehigh banning an object because it could be used for illegal purposes. Lewis is pointing out the university is banning a legal object that has cultural significance and can be appreciated as a work of art. (0) comments

The Brown and White should publish events, such as the recent drag show on April 3, which promote awareness and raise money for important community organizations. (0) comments

The letter "Campaign for a student center" (April 8, 2008) continued an important dialogue about creating a common Lehigh space that all of the community can call its own. Now is the time for faculty, staff and students to make a commitment to changing our campus environment. (0) comments
