Letter to the Editor

Issue date: 10/5/07 Section: Opinion
Thank you for running the article on graduate student life at Lehigh, "Where is the graditude?" (Sept. 21, 2007). As a current grad student and a Lehigh undergrad alumna, I can safely say I had no idea what grad life would be like before I started.
Your article correctly reported that graduate studies can be time-consuming and stressful sometimes. However, grad school can also be an inspiring, exciting, fun and rewarding time in a person's life.
In an effort to help undergrads who are interested in going to grad school get better-acquainted with the reality of life as a grad student, the Graduate Student Senate is holding an open forum on Wednesday, Oct.. 17 at 7 p.m., in Maginnes 112.
We will have coffee and dessert and a panel of grad students who will answer your questions on every aspect of grad life, from dating to dissertations.
