Shock and Awww

Hello, prospective students and families, and welcome to Lehigh. My name is Andrew, and I'll be taking you on a tour of some of the campus's premier buildings and historic landmarks in hopes that you might consider joining the Lehigh community next fall.
Okay, right this way. We begin our tour in the Alumni Memorial Building. Sure is beautiful, huh? This may be the only time you're ever in here, so take a picture.
Let's move outside where you can see a lovely, three-story house right in the middle of our campus. Legend has it this may be the home of our president, Alice P. Gast, so we strongly encourage you to make this your first stop on Halloween night when you're out trick-or-treating. I heard she gives out the most expensive candy in the neighborhood.
Let's make our way down University Walk. This road is open to the public to drive on, so make sure that when you bring your Audis to school your sophomore year, you take full advantage of its convenience. Along the walk, you will see a tree that looks like it has a tumor. Ah, nature! You may also notice statues to your left and right that seemingly have no relevance to the university. For instance, this is our model student, and he's great to have conversations with in the middle of the night on your walk home from Linderman Library during "4 o'clock" week.
Up here is Packer Chapel, and right next to that is the shack that houses our philosophy department. It's a bit small, and there's no working electricity or running water, but our students don't need that stuff to think. After all, Thoreau didn't! Seriously, though, philosophy continues to be the most popular major at Lehigh, so you've come to the right place.
As we walk along Packer Avenue, you'll see what's known as off campus. Streets such as Taylor Street, East Fifth Street and Hillside Avenue are home to some of Lehigh's brightest students and contain some of Bethlehem's finest and priciest adobes. You should feel right at home while walking off campus because the locals are extremely kind and welcoming. Be sure to embrace them with a Lehigh hello.
