Overfilled cars led to citations after tailgates Saturday

Thirteen Lehigh students received citations for underage drinking when Lower Saucon Valley police stopped three vehicles driving from Goodman Stadium Saturday, police said.
Two trucks and one car were stopped on Mountain Drive at the corner of Seidersville Road in Lower Saucon Township, police said.
Police stopped a pickup truck with passengers in the bed at 11:35 a.m on Mountain Drive South. The truck was speeding, police said.
Six of the seven passengers were underage and had been drinking. They were cited for underage drinking, police said.
According to the police, the driver was cited for permitting passengers in the open bed of his truck, police said.
Police stopped another vehicle at 1:38 p.m. Saturday on Mountain Drive North for obstruction to the driver's view.
Three passengers were underage and had been drinking.
They were cited for underage drinking, police said.
The driver was cited for obstruction to driver view and mechanism.
Police stopped a second pickup truck at 1:54 p.m. Saturday on Mountain Drive North for a moving violation. The truck had five people in the cab and five people in the bed.
The car was leaving the football game, police said.
