The lives of four children were taken during a four-alarm fire March 9 at 1217 Mechanic St. The victims were Jai-Lynn Echevarria, 5; Nyasia Echevarria, 8; Anthony Echevarria, 11; and Jonathan Echevarria, 13.
How can The Brown and White possibly justify not reporting on this devastating tragedy, which took place no more than a mile away from Lehigh's campus? The Morning Call covered the event extensively.
In a just world, these children could have been future Lehigh students.
Correction: The online edition incorrectly spelled Nate Kingsbury's name as Kinsbury. The Brown and White regrets the area.
