After reading the comic "Map for a successful St. Patrick's Day" (March 18, 2008), I was disheartened to see the anti-Semitic reference.
Not only does this pertain to the Jewish reference, but the entire cartoon played to the insulting biases of people of Irish descent.
And while I'm sure it wasn't meant to be hurtful, it was. At this point I think we should rise above the situation in honor of Lehigh and what it means to us.
