Single day tickets to attend lectures by the Dalai Lama from July 10-15 went on sale Monday, according to a press release from the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center.

These tickets went on sale after tickets for his July 13 lecture sold out in 15 minutes last month.

Tickets to the lectures were originally being sold as a collective package for all of the lectures taking place during the full six-day event.

Now, people can buy tickets just for the individual lecture of their choice.

One-day tickets are available online or through the Stabler Arena Box Office.

Seats are available for $45 per day, with the exception of tickets for the July 13 morning session, which will cost $25 for the day.

The Dalai Lama will travel to the U. S. under the sponsorship of Lehigh University and the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center of New Jersey, the first Tibetan Dharma center in the west.

During his visit, the Dalai Lama will hold six days of teachings in which he will discuss Tsong-kha-pa's "Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment."

"Tsong-kha-pa had a powerful effect on the course of Tibetan history," Director of the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center Joshua W.C. Cutler said in a press release.. "You can easily see why when you read the 'Great Treatise,' his masterpiece. The clarity, insightfulness and scholarship are astounding."

According to the press release, the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center's founder, Geshe Ngawang Wangyal, sponsored the Dalai Lama's first religious teaching in the U. S. in 1979.

Cutler said in the press release Tibetan Buddhism has been in the U. S. for 50 years, and the "Great Treatise" marks it historically.
