Later in the half, the Hawks scored five unanswered goals within one minute.

The Hawks took control with a 10-3 lead.

Villanova, who could barely complete a clear against the Hawks' defense finished the game with only two additional goals.

Senior defender and captain Seana Smith said she was happy with the Hawks' second half comeback.

Head coach Liz Brode Ota seconded smith's opinion and said the women gave a relentless effort the on the field.

"The second half was a great offensive effort," she said.

Junior attacker, Megan Tenety, scored the first goal of the game early in the first half.

Tenety added her second goal with 24:33 to go in the second.

Freshman attacker Lauren Dykstra added six goals for the Hawks.

MacIntyre finished the game with two goals.

Although Lehigh won, the game was close early on, due to the efforts of Villanova freshman goalkeeper, Maggie Langan. Langan saved 10 of 14 shots in the first half.

Senior midfielder Christy Smith said the game was exciting, but she is not ready for her home career to end.

"It was exciting … it was emotional … it's just weird that it's over," she said.

Brode Ota said she was very proud of her two seniors.

"They were a big part of our rebuilding process," she said.

The women are now looking to prepare for their season-ending game at Bucknell University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

This season the Bison are 6-6 on the season with a 1-4 record in Patriot League play, with their only win coming against Lafayette 20-11.
